I've always been planner dependent since I entered college and I think it helped me not to forget my assignments, projects, and other social events. I usually use them for doodles hehe. I never had Starbucks planner or other brands. I'll try to find some time to blog about my previous planner. There's so much feels whenever I scan on the pages and reminisce the good old times. But yeah, New Year, New Planner, New chance to make a good memories. I'm a bit excited (and frustrated) for this new planner, given by N. Thanks, love. I just got Filed!
Yes, I am frustrated everytime I get a planner. Why? Because of the planning and I can't organize my thoughts as of the moment. I can't really doodle. Creative juices have lost, (I hope not!) I have my work in my head right now, and all I can think about is to have some rest alone.... Okay that just gave me the idea. I want to have more "Me" time for this year; to know myself better, and to go on a soul searching. On a soul search, it doesn't really mean go somewhere far from everyone, but to discover and try new things. Amen!
But of course, I want to be specific on these things and they frustrate me, makes me feel more lost than ever. (arte, haha!) I thought with Filed, I would plan my 2014 smoothly. As it turned out, I made my plans more complicated. I got confused with 2014 resolutions and 2014 plans. I just cleared my thoughts recently, realized the difference between the two. I hope you guys out there, wouldn't be lost as much I am. What a regret for me because I don't want to change anything what in written already, or else it will just make a mess on my planner.

Anyway, Resolutions are the things I want to keep in my lifestyle. Above is my so called "resolutions" but I think I over did it. Some items should be on 2014 plans because I cannot do them everyday. So to clarify things, here is my 2014 resolutions.
- Live a healthy life - Who doesn't want to do these? Gyms are probably crowded by now because everyone's on "balik alindog program" from the weight they gain during the holiday season. So I would do by keeping a balanced diet in the means of eating brown rice, more fruits and vegetables, and less calories - soda, junk food, pork. Also, to commit myself in jogging or taking my dogs for a walk everyday, then my daily exercises as prescribed by my doctor so I wouldn't feel any back pain again. I should be up as early as 6 am, so I could jog and eat a healthy breakfast before going to work, and prepare myself of some healthy brown rice meals for lunch breaks.
- Save Money and never spend it as much as possible - Having a job last year is the biggest blessing I had so far. It made me realized how important everything is and most importantly, it made me feel content with life I have right now. But I cannot just live life to the fullest, and depend on YOLO. I also have to ensure my future. And so it's a challenge for me to budget everything. But it's my priority to save money in my own personal savings account so I won't regret anything in the future in case I might need it.
- Volunteer more - Last year, I've been part of Dakila and it really saved my soul. I learned how to share my time and effort to other people and too appreciate other people's effort too. But this year, it's not just being active in attending Dakila's events, but also to help others even just by myself. Dakila has many campaigns and I realized that my favorite is the Tiktok Pilipinas, a campaign to raise awareness on Climate Change. Coming from an environment friendly school, the value of being concerned to the environment has in tacked to me. I have plans on pushing campaign ideas but I'll share them on my 2014 plans,
- Be inspired everyday - it's not like I'm pushing myself to have a creative output everyday. Though this planner frustrates me a lot to doodle, but I'll find time. I just need to complete my coloring pen set (lol I know, excuses.) I've been busy with sketching before going to sleep and will post them soon too. Maybe that's a stepping stone for me to squeeze more creative juice in my head. Ughhhh But no worries, I'll work on this out, for the colorful 2014! And yes, to be inspired also by reading books! I believe knowledge is power. ;-)
- Always learn something new - Not because I have graduated college doesn't mean I would stop learning. No, I don't mean going back to school and take Masters. Learning something new like baking and cooking family recipes, or how to skate and more surf tricks. Yay surf!
I don't really have PLANS for 2014. Planning sucks but I still do it. (Oh the irony) I just wanted to save money a lot this year. So just disregard the plans I've written on my planner. Well, I don't really think they are plans, they're more like resolutions, don't you think? But anyway, I'll try my best to re-write them. Whatever so here's my plan for 2014.
- SAVE A LOT. I know this sounds weird because we all do this. I'm saving up for a lot, like for emergency funds, unexpected travel funds, and unexpected shopping spree (of course, I'm a girl)
- SURF. There are a few surf spots in my mind right now but I am thinking of going to San Juan, La Union, and stay at Flotsam and Jetsam Hostel. It's kinda cool. No, it's very artsy and cozy. But all I could think of doing in La Union is to surf. Unlike in Baler, there were other things to see. Tho I haven't searched any activities yet in La Union. I'm planning to go there on my birthday. Like on my every birthday, I would go surfing and just be myself on the beach. A little time for myself.
- MUSIC AND ARTS FESTIVALS. Saving up money for Wanderland 2014 and thinking of going to Summer Siren 2014 happening in Crystal Beach Zambales - where there's surfing too. Still thinking if they are worth it but not much of my priority since Summer Siren will happen on April and Wanderland on May. Stoked Summer ahead of me.
- INVEST. This is so generalized but here are some of the things I am planning to invest on: (1.) Clothes, for I have opened an online shop using another instagram account, where I sell my pre-loved clothes that are still good and trendy. Will do extreme hauling on thrift shops and photo shoots for when-worn samples; (2.)Learning with Coursera, because I believe that we shouldn't stop from learning even if I'am already working. Gaining knowledge makes me feel younger and I miss the college life, where I somehow regret my study habits so I'll be a better student now; (3)Others, because I need to save up more for a bigger capital. I'm supporting my mom now for she has ideas of small business like a salon or nail and spa shop. Tho I'm planning to invest on land properties and travel funds that I'm targeting by 2015.
- PET PATROL. No idea is too small'' - I learned from Dakila. I was encourage to make my own acts in helping the society, not just being active in current social events of politics, governance and other affected interests. My real concern whenever there are disasters here in our country are the pets we have now. So for an introduction of this campaign, I would raise awareness on our pets' healthy lifestyle and adopt stray dogs, love them as a family member, until the family gets bigger. That's it for now.
So here's my vision book, inspired by the documentary film, "The Secret". My life plan may go in here and just summarize it on Filed planner. :)
